Dj DFlex has always had a particular interest in music, and got into Djing because of his social weekend visits to clubs in places like Leicester Square, and remembers being blown away by established Djs and there skills thinking to himself - "I can do that"and would one day be as big as them.
DFlex came from a single parented modest home, where he shuffled his way through the educational system, and move on to the nearest local university to pursue Theatre Design.
He earned money through a part time job using the finance to purchase cassettes, CDs, vinyl and Dj Decks, his first pair of Decks where Citronics and they where second hand - "The worst Decks in the world" whenever he tried to mix 2 tunes together they wouldn't sync, this is probably why the orignal owner of these Decks got rid of them in the first place. Whenever these decks continued not to sync he decided to get rid of them because they took the fun out of Djing, his exact words where: " every Djs worst nightmare"
He moved on to a retail based job as a Assistant Manager earning monthly bonuses and using the money to buy Dj software: he has used Virtual Dj Home edition/pro edition, Traktor Scratch Pro, now he uses Traktor Duo 2 - a highly advanced software.
His early musical influences has been by Djs and producers such as Grant Nelson, Jeremy Sylvester, Kerrie Chandler, Mj Cole, Todd Edwards, Tuff Jam, Solo Recording - Matt Jam Lamonte/Scott Tonic, later influences: Dave Miaux, Freemasons, Mike Delgado, Rick Wade, Brett Dancer, Gene Farris, Miguel Migs and many more. His musical style is Deep House/Soulful House/Funky House, mostly chosen whatever tracks show up on Dj-charts, whenever Beatport or Traxsource suggests when he logs in, and tracks that his Dj friends mention more than once.
He hasn't played with any internationally - known DJs (or nationally-known, for that matter), but has played in jam packed clubs and has enjoyed whatever opportunity has come his way and made the most of it.
Dj DFlex doesn't really know what he's up to next. He's been digging this Djing thing alright and wants to become an international Dj, one of his dreams is to Dj back to back with Kerrie Chandler and some of the other Djs and producers mentioned above.
